Now, there are ultrasonic flaw detectors with all the features you need for inspection in bright sunlight as well as in dark or poorly lighted conditions. Krautkramerﾒs new USN-L Series portable ultrasonic flaw detectors can be read easily in bright, direct sunlight. New ﾓtransreflectiveﾔ technology actually uses sunlight to make the display more visible outdoors. The new USN-L instruments have a fast 60 Hz update rate,LCD display and a fine screen resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. Backlighting is used for excellent visibility indoors or in dark conditions. The L Series instruments include the USN 50L and the USN 52L providing a choice of ultrasonic features to address individual applications. The R Series features our high resolution EL display and includes the USN 50R and the USN 52R instruments. They offer incredibly fine screen resolution for picking up the smallest details in critical echoes. Display resolution is nearly as sharp as analog displays.
